When 3D Touch is activated or any vibration occurs, the Taptic Engine makes a rattling noise that either sounds look a faulty spring or perhaps a loose screw in the device quite possibly being the screw used on the audio jack based upon the tear down photos posted.
iPhone 6s: iPhone 6s Searching/No Service

I have an iPhone 6s that has the searching/no service issue. I've seen this a lot online with the iPhone 6/6 Plus, but no one really talks about it with the 6s. Is it caused by the same baseband ic issue or is it another chip? I've looked around to get this repaired, but no one really seems to offer this service. Does anyone know where I can get this chip reballed? Thanks in advanced!

iPhone 5: Full brightness dimming problem

HI I have a iphone 5 and the glass of my screen was cracked.

I bought a new lcd with digitizer from ebay and replaced that with an old cracked one.

It works fine but the even though i changed setting to full brightness, it's not bright enough compare to my friend's iphone 5.

Auto-brightness is turned off

So I replaced it with my old one but still darker than others.

I also tried DFU but still the same.

I'm not sure why it happens.

iPhone XS: iPhone XS automatically shuts down once plugged to charger

Recently I replaced my iPhone Xs battery, my phone was working fine in starting for at least one week, then problem comes, here is weird problem, when i plugged to charger it start charging like normal, once screen goes dim & phone goes to auto lock, within one minute it auto shutdown & won’t charge, even if i press power button, it won’t power on, unplugged and plugged again, no effect, normally with plugged to charger iphone power turn on , but this won’t happen in my case, now if i unplugged to charger for 5 seconds, phone auto turn on & i even no need to press power button, weird thing is if i plugged to charger and let phone screen keep on, it charging normal like normal, phone battery work fine & it never goes auto off phone while using phone, not sure where to start find problem, as i already destroy my old original battery while trying to change original protection board of battery, i broke original battery flex cable, so i don’t have any other battery which i can try to check if that is battery faulty or phone motherboard it self or it might be charging board, phone can connect to pc with no issue and as i said it charging battery with no problem if phone screen is on so what i am doing is make auto lock never & make brightness to zero, so let it charge my phone, once it 100% i make it back to auto lock & increases brightness to normal, but this is not the solution, so i am wondering if anybody know what is all that, have anyone else faced similar problem?

any help shall be highly appreciated,

iPhone 5: iPhone 5 Black screen after screen replacement

I replaced a iPhone 5 screen for a customer the other day. It worked fine when it was picked up, but a day later they returned it with a black screen. The phone seems to start up when plugged in to charge and vibrates when muted/unmuted, but the screen stays black. Whats puzzling is that it doesn't seems to start when I only use the power button. I can turn it off by holding power button and slide the bar, so the touch seems to work.

Heres what I've tried so far...

Replaced it with the original broken screen.

Replaced it with several new screens.

Disassemble and assemble the phone.

Replaced the power button flex.

Put the motherboard in a new iPhone 5.

Nothing helps. Hopefully someone can enlighten me. :)

iPhone 4: Error 4005 Wont boot up but shows up in Itunes (DFU)

My Wife's iPhone 4 up and quit a few weeks ago. No signs of life on the charger or in iTunes. The dock connector was pretty corroded so I replaced that and the battery with no results. If I put it in DFU mode , it will show up in iTunes but gives me an error 4005 when trying to restore. I metered the charging fuses on the logic board and they seem OK. I'm guessing that would leave the charging IC ? Or am I looking at something else on the Logic Board as the cause?

iPhone 7: Ripped one of the cables on LCD, but what is it exactly?

Hi!

I have disassembled an iPhone 7 but when taking of the screen one of the two flex cables from the lcd screen got ripped. The cable that got ripped runs upwards under the LCD part, to the top. The LCD and touch still work. (fun to know that the LCD and Touch both go through one flex cable). But it disabled the home button from working. I am trying to understand how the part that I broke runs underneath the hood and what I can do to solve it. Can somebody explain it to me with pictures where the cable runs to and how it works?

Updaten (04-05-21)

This is the Home Button cable. It’s very fragile for the iPhone 7 model. The solution is to buy a replacement screen. :)
