iPad Mini: Stuck on Apple logo after screen replacement

Ok, so I replaced the screen on an ipad. (PROBABLY the 500 I have done) Here is the issue. When I unplug the battery and and plug it back in the ipad will power on and show the apple logo. As soon as the apple logo goes away the ipad screen goes black. and if I press the power button it will not wake up, but if I hold the power button the screen will come on with the slide to power off sign. Does anyone know what this could be?

iPad Mini Wi-Fi: simple way to remove LCD withoud cracking it

I have seen countless comments about the LCD breaking when trying to remove it from the LCD shield with adhesive. I have found a simple solution. Once the 4 screws have been removed take a piece of fishing line (longer than the iPad) and simply run it beneath the top of the LCD from one side to the other. Once it's in place, gently pull it down applying equal pressure from both sides. The fishing line will break the adhesive in the process, freeing the LCD. It has worked for me every time.

iPad Mini: Device wont actively track Battery %

hey team! ive encountered an issue.

Theres an iPad im trying to fix that has an issue with actively readying the battery.

if the battery is at say 54% hypothetically when i turn the device on, it will not read another battery level, but if i turn the device off, then on again, it will read a new battery level.

I tried 2 new charge ports, and a new battery.

I would prefer to keep the data if at all possible, though i am aware there is potential that it could be software reload time. this is my last resort, and would like to try other things (boardwork) first.

Please answer if you have seen this issue before.

iPad Mini: ipad mini not working after falling in water

hi

I cracked my iPad mini and then got it repaired and put a case on it without realizing that the screen was not glued on properly, so I accidently dropped in water and the iPad shut down. I tried to turn it on and for a second the apple sign appeared and suddenly disappeared, the second time I turned it on there were lines on the screen.2 seconds later they also disappeared and the iPad never turned back on. I then took apart my iPad and dried all the water I could see, but still, my iPad did not turn on. so what shall I do? IF MY IPAD CANT GET FIXED IS THERE A WAY I CAN GET MY DATE OFF MY IPAD?

a. change my battery

b. change the LCD

c. change the port where you connect your charger in

After digitizer replacement - it seems the magnetic sensor are TOO sensitive. This means that when opening your smartcover - thereby pushing it to the back of the device - it now activates On/Off functionality.

iPad Mini: Failed Screen Replacement, back light not working.

My screen was broken so my friend and I replaced it with a new one. All went well, we didn't lose anything and didn't break anything (to our knowledge). We popped the screen back on and booted it up. When it turned on and plugged it in, we could hear the "I'm charging now" noise and we could see a bit of the screen in the right light. We googled it and tried all the suggestions which included:

Doing a soft/hard reset

Shutting it all the way off

Taking the entire screen off again and making sure everything is plugged in

We don't really know whats wrong....Any suggestions? Do we get the backlight system replaced? Please, we are kind of at a loss.

iPad Mini: Black Strip on LCD after SOMEWHAT Successful Digitizer Repair. HELP

I had a SOMEWHAT successful digitizer repair on my iPad Mini.

The only problem is that I think I may have tugged too hard/bent the LCD too far back during step 6.

I think it's just the ribbon cable, because at first it was a black strip, and then after trying to reseat everything I started pushing down on the connections (while it was on) to see if anything made a slight difference and it was the LCD cable that would cause a change.

It wasnt the connector but the cable itself that after pressing would cause the black line to turn rainbowish, and after thinking I almost had it fixed the screen went B&W and now it's a white stripe and the rest of the screen is somewhat colorless.

Digitizer works, everything seems to work except for the loss of color and strip down the screen.

Is there a way to fix just the ribbon? Or is the whole LCD pretty much useless now?

After replacing the touch screen again, the ipad mini only boots up to a very dark screen starting with the apple logo and then displaying 5:01 Wednesday December 31st.

I have read on this forum that you must be very careful when disconnecting lcd, and battery and making sure of the proper order. I have done this several times and still get the black screen.

Looking close at the board it seems the connection is damaged to the touch screen. Two gold teeth seem to be damaged. Is this repairable?
