Imac intel 2009 inicio 20" não liga, o led da placa mãe ao lado da bateria acende quando o cabo de energia está conectado, a fonte está entregando 12v nos pinos 2, 3, 4 e 9 , o fusível da fonte está Ok, bateria de CMOS com 3,2V, botão de partida testado OK, redefinição de CMOS feita, Módulos de memória RAM OK.
Deu partida sozinho e depois também desligou sozinho. o que está errado?

Caros,

Copiei o HD do iMac 21.5 de 2019 para um disco SSD mas quando instalei a máquina inicia mas dá um erro. Apliquei o comand + R para fazer recuperação do disco e instalar o Mac OS. Algum tempo depois aparece a mensagem que diz não existirem recursos para continuar, o que fazer?

Pessoal !! Espero que me ajudem. Tenho um IMAC modelo A1311 meados de 2011, Ele não está ligando e já fiz todos procedimentos básicos para teste então desmontei ! Percebi que ....quando coloco na tomada a Liz da placa Mãe Led R501 somente Pisca e depois apaga sendo que era pra permanecer ligado para depois apertar o botão Power e ligar a máquina .....mesmo apertando o Power o Pc não dá sinal então o que pode ser o problema ?

Medi tensão de saída e meu imac só alcança 8volts ao invés de 12volts mas mesmo assim cooler giram só não acende o 2led de diagnóstico e nem dá imagem na tela seria problema na fonte de alimentação???

Meu iMac do nada ficou apenas com essa saída de som em Digital Out, mesmo se eu plugar um phone ele não reconhece, só com phone bluetooth.
Quando ligo o som de inicialização sai normal, portanto os auto falantes estão funcionando, apenas quando carrega o iOS que fica essa configuração.

Queria saber se é um problema físico ou apenas do sistema, reinstalando ou algo assim que volte a funcionar.

Já tentei diversos modos de tentar reparar fazendo busca no google, mas nenhum deu certo.

Comprei um novo SSD nvme e um SSD SATA, bem como o kit com ferramentas e autocolantes para remover / colocar o ecrã (e com o sensor de temperatura para o disco SATA). É recomendado o uso de um secador para amolecer/aquecer os autocolantes que estão no ecrã para o retirar mais facilmente , ou as ferramentas disponibilizadas chegam?

Olá, estava com meu MAC sem vídeo então troquei a placa de vídeo e agora ele roda a tela do logo e quando a barrinha estão quase cheia a tela fica branca por um minuto e reboota. Já tentei entrar em modo de segurança, resetar bios, e nada funciona. Alguém teria alguma dica? Estou ficando desesperado.

iMac Intel 27" Retina 5K Display 2019: Controller fatal bit set. Write. fBuiltIn=1 MODEL=APPLE SSD SM0128L

I am assuming that "Controller fatal bit set. Write. fBuiltIn=1 MODEL=APPLE SSD SM0128L" means that the SSD half of the Fusion Drive in my 2019 iMac is toast.

I have migrated macOS to a Thunderbolt 3 external drive and did a persistent unmount of both the SSD and the spinning hard drive, assuming that would take care of the problem. Surprisingly, it did not!

My current plan is to open up my iMac, remove both the SSD and HD, and just use my TB drive.

Will this work? Do I need to remove the temp sensor in order to avoid having the fan run constantly? Are there any other issues I need to be aware of?

Problem:

iMac won't turn on, no response to power button

Model:

iMac A1419 27" Late 2017

Background:

-Only opened the screen once for HDD->SSD replacement many years ago.

-It was all fine and a month ago I switch off the power cord for it. (since I rarely use the iMac)

Until recently I find it dead and won't turn on.

Finding:

1.Press power button but nothing happens.

2.Only Diag LED1 is on, and LED2 has no response to button.

3.Power supply board replaced, but issue remains

4.CR2032 replaced 3.2V, but issue remains

Any suggestion for the next step of diagnostic?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on restoring my Mid 2010 21.5" iMac (Model A1311), which is a very meaningful family heirloom from my grandfather.

I initially opened it up for an SSD/RAM upgrade. After the original display stayed black, I bought a replacement display panel (got a great deal for €20) and installed it, but I'm still running into the exact same issue.

Here is my current situation:

Diagnostic LEDs: LEDs 1, 2, and 3 are all lit up solid, but LED #4 remains completely OFF, which points directly to a missing display communication/video signal.

Current Setup: I am using the new replacement display, but I am struggling to get the LVDS cable properly seated into the socket on the logic board.

I have attached pictures of the connector and the board. Could you please help me figure out:

1. Does the connector, cable, or logic board socket look damaged in any of these photos?

2. If there is no visible damage, what am I doing wrong when plugging it in, and how do I properly align and insert this cable without damaging the pins?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to revive a Late 2017 21.5" iMac (A1418, EMC 2833) that has been black-screening.

Symptoms:

- When booting, I hear the startup chime, see the Apple logo for ~2-3 seconds, then the screen goes black

- Fans continue running normally

- I tried Internet Recovery (Option + Command + R, and regular Command + R)

- The recovery globe loads, I can select WiFi, enter a name, and even see the macOS Utilities window

- Sometimes the recovery utilities work briefly, but the screen blacks out after ~10 seconds

- I also see occasional vertical stripes / glitch lines on the screen for a split second right before it dies

- I tried resetting SMC and NVRAM multiple times — no change

- I also attempted to make a Ventura USB installer using a MacBook Air, but same black screen when booting from USB

Questions:

1. Given the symptoms + brief visual glitches before black screen, is this likely the GPU failing?

2. Is there a way to boot with reduced graphics (safe mode doesn't seem to help) or disable the AMD GPU in firmware?

3. Should I pursue logic board replacement or is this worth repairing economically?

Any guidance is appreciated — I'm comfortable opening the machine up if there's a safe test path.

Specs: iMac A1418 (21.5-inch, 2017), Intel i5, AMD Radeon Pro 555

The iMac is a late 2013 14.1 21.5" 2.7GHz version that was imported from USA, we are in the Philippines so we are wondering about the power supply. Everything is stock. Just plug and play or do we need a transformer or something to plug in to power up safely?
