Xbox One: kinect turns on when xbox is on but then turns off why

i have issues with the xbox one sensor as it turns on when the console is on but then noticed the IR LEDs turn off then the xbox logo

i have a sneaky suspension as to why this is but need assistance with the sensor as to why it turns off when the console turns on

i have performed a full shutdown of the console and then started it back up but for some odd reason the same issue occurs and i need assistance as mention above

any suggestions

why cant I view or play mp4 movies copied from dvds to an external hard drive on an xbox one s

when I open the containing folder it does not show the movie or series and yet Google shows that the Xbox one supports mkv and yet nothing is visible or able to be played why is that

Xbox One: My tv is a toshiba smart tv or rather alexa tv but is having issues

when i came to attempt to set up me alexa toshiba tv with the xbox one it failed to send the code and it went through each set of codes and not one of them sent the volume up code successfully

any suggestions on what to do and how to resolve the issue

for some odd reason there is a small noise coming from the cooling fan after installation

the fan was purchased using ebay as a cheap way to replace the other one that was originally there but why is it making this noise

every time i come to go to youtube netflix or even play on games there is a rattling sound that arises and i checked the heat sync fins and found what appears to be either a small bit of plastic or fluff and nothing else so what could be causing it as i did check the cooling fan itself and it does not seem to be rattling to so what is the cause of this issue

Xbox One: Why is my XBox One not turning on?

Recently received an XBox One from a friend, and was told it is not working. When I plug the power supply into the wall, the power supply light holds solid orange, but when I plug the cable into the console, the light on the power supply turns off after ~1 second, and remains off until the power supply is unplugged from the console and wall, then only plugged back into the wall.

My xbox power button is sometime clicking itself couple of times when the xbox is on and it's not overheating or anything like that because when I unplugged main circuit board responsible for power button everything is working and it's not clicking itself, please help me because I would love to have everything working in case a would want to sell it also my xbox is making a weird sound similar to taping a glass cup with metal and I don't know why

Xbox One: Xbox one randomly turns on and off by itself

So idk y but when I take the face plate off and turn it on with a connected controller it stays on. But when i connect the face plate back on it turns on by itself and shut off after 1-3 seconds. I tried a known working faceplate bug still the same issue so idk what is happening its weird

Xbox One: When I insert a disk, it makes a terrible sound

I opened the Disk Drive to do a super clean on this untouched, 3rd gen Xbox Game Console (1st Xbox One) and I did gently bend the magnet retainer (small metal piece that bends over the top of the disk holding magnet) and now the disk just rattles around when it attempts to read the disk,

I have had the Xbox open (and the disk tray casing) and turned on, put a disk in and I got it to read and install even though it still rattled around (I know it only reads the code from the disk and the rest is run from the downloaded files) but now I can't get it to read with the Xbox fully assembled, this Xbox is (in fact all the Xbox's I've dismantled are) a pain in the arse to dismantle and access the internals,

Can anyone help me, I need to know how to get the magnet to secure the disk in place better as I have had it apart a few times and I am approaching my wit's end haha

Xbox One: Xbox One disc drive laser sled gets stuck in fully-extended position

I have a recently refurbished Xbox One (not S) disc drive and the laser sled has become stuck at the extended position three times, requiring me to remove disassemble the disc drive and manually push the sled back to a position where it can read the disc.

In its fully extended state it cannot travel and move to read the disc on its own. Is there a way to mitigate this, perhaps even putting in blocks to prevent the disc sled from extending so far?

Xbox One: What connector is this on the power on/off board?

In a rather ambitious project, I'm making a custom case for my old Xbox One and need to relocate the power on/off board. I am searching for a extension cable for this fitting or the part number so I can wire one in myself. Anyone have any ideas?

Xbox One: Xbox One Original Has No HDMI signal

When I turn my Xbox on and there is no signal. I tried holding the power button to fully turn it off, disconnecting the power and letting it sit for a few minutes then powering it in low resolution mode to no success. My next approach was to turn it back on and follow a guide with no signal to get into setting and set it to dvi. This temporarily brought back my signal but it brought me to a screen where it said "preparing console" I left it running on this screen for a few hours but nothing happened. I turned my Xbox off and when rebooting it I'm back at square one. Except now my controller won't connect (even when plugged in) and I can't redo the manual guide to switch it to dvi. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
