Xbox 360: How do I permanently fix broken Xbox 360 Gpu connection to motherboard

I have a Xbox 360 Pro zephyr edition. I recently got 3 rrod and I think it's my Gpu. I am able to open the Xbox up but I don't have a torx 8 screwdriver to access to motherboard. Is there any way to permanently fix the Gpu problem without access to the underside of the motherboard?

I had the RROD so I replaced all the bad caps. It now works but turns off after 5-10 minutes while playing a game. Should I relace all the caps.

I'm very new to tech DIY, but it is new found interest and I am trying my best, I bought a project 360 and everything works fine apart from the disc drive. I took the housing off the disc drive, put a game in it, built it back up and it reads fine, but won't open on it's own. I think the slider mechanism slides too far, locking it in position but I'm not sure. I will provide photos for reference, since it reads discs I'd rather fix it than replace it and waste the rest of the parts. Thanks.

Ya le pose el cd de instalación y aparece CD no se puede leer ya le puse otro CD y el mismo problema y use otra consola hd dvd y esa si funciona cuál sería el problema

In a nutshell, my Xbox will not read discs. It would say “unrecognized disc” no matter what I put in it. Tried cleaning the lens, and adjusting the potentiometer. Didn’t work. Bought a new laser. Didn’t work. Adjusted the potentiometer again. Still didn’t work. Also now, after putting a new laser in, it says “open tray” and doesn’t even attempt to read it. I feel like I’ve gone backwards.

Any tips would be great here.

I had my Xbox 360 for a long time but at some point I couldn't get the games to load unless the Xbox was turned on before and kind of get set and ready, then the disks wouldn't read so I was only capable of playing the download games but suddenly it would only let us turn it on but my family and I weren't capable of selecting a player, it would just be on. It's an Xbox Star Wars edition

I have this Xbox 360 with the NXE dashboard,but earlier today I opened it to make a small repair. But now after closing it the fans run very loud and now 6 - 7 minutes after powering on it gets a red ring of death with two lights which means it's overheating and I don't know why.

Does anyone know where to buy USB port replacements for the front panel of an XBOX 360 Falcon? I bought a 360 Frankenstein (Falcon in an Opus case, with the video ports dremeled out in the back, lol) online and am looking to restore it. I found that one of the USB ports in the front panel is busted beyond repair. I have looked all over and can find HDMI ports all day long, but no USB ports.

Xbox 360: Help with open tray error?

So I recently bought an XBOX 360 and I keep getting open tray error. I replaced the laser (I removed the solder blob from the replacement) but I still get the same error, only this time the laser seems to atleast try to read the games. I took it apart to try and see whats the problem, and I saw that sometimes when I insert the game the laser lights up for a second and then goes out right before the disc starts to spin, and than stops and does that for 4 to 5 times before showing open tray error once again. Other times the disc spins up, the laser lights up and moves and it tries to read but ultimately ends up with an open tray error. I heard that you can try tapping the drive in hopes of getting it to work, so I tried it and got the drive to read the disc twice so far but the console did not recognize what game it was, I either got "Unrecognized disc" error or the console just froze. I've been trying to get the console to work for like a month now but to no awail. I'm out of ideas... I tried with like 15 different games (Kinect, XBOX Classic, and normal Xbox 360) games and neither of them worked. I'm open to any suggestions.

PS.: It's a 2008 Phat

UPDATE: I got the thing kind of working, it reads games when I'm gently tapping the drive while the console is opend up after a few attempts, the game shows up, starts and after like 5-10 seconds it stoppes and I get a "unrecognized disc" error. The disc is still spinning. When it starts to read the disc, the laser seems strong but by the time of the crash it seems like it's a lot weaker and it weakens till it isn't visible. Should I mess with the pot or nah? I've seen people suggesting tweaking it for replacement lasers since it's not set properly by default but I don't have a multimeter.

I recently took apart my old 2008 Xbox to clean it. It works as intended, but soon overheats because fans won’t spin up. I replaced the fans thinking they were damaged but the same issues came up again. I honestly don’t know if they were working or not before I opened it up to clean it. So I’m thinking it’s a fan controller issue or some damage on the motherboard. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

@oldturkey03 I think it’s a 2008 model, it’s black and uses the 203 watt power supply.
