Xbox 360: Red ring on death issues

My Xbox 360 recently got the dreaded red ring of death, and I’ve tried everything available to fix it. I re-balled the gpu, I’ve heated the ram chips, cpu, and gpu, i pressed on the Hanna chip, I replaced leaky capacitors, I’ve checked the board for missing parts, I’ve cleaned it, I installed red ring of death fix kit by Ifixit, I made sure the power supply was properly plugged in. Nothing has worked. Any ideas on how to fix this issue??? My error code was 0020.

Xbox 360 HD DVD drive: Won't read disks at some points

So, a backstory on this. It's my dad's XBox 360, he recently gave to me. It runs a little slow, but perfectly fine. The only issue going on is that when I want to play a certain game, I'll put it in, then it'll just read for a second, then say "open tray" but if I put another game in there, it'll work perfect fine. But the issue isn't that. It's the fact that I can lay it on its side, and it'll start the game, but if I turn it off, it'll do this cycle and it makes me mad so much. If someone could please help me, I'd really appreciate it.

Xbox 360: Where can I find a replacement spring, for usb port cover?

I left my MP3 player plugged into the usb port for too long. This resulted in my door loosing it's "spring" and would not return to the closed position. I have finally taking the time to look at what happened and I don't have the original spring anymore.

I need to know if i can simply go to any hardwear store and request a spring of that sizing, or is it something I need to find online(unfortunatly I did not see it on ifixit.com). If it is possible, I would be willing to make my own, but just don't know which material(s) would work best.

Xbox 360: Why isn't my Xbox reading my Hard drive?

This morning, I turned on my Xbox 360, and it red ringed the 1st, 3rd, and 4th ring. Now, my Xbox won't access the hard drive no matter what I try. I've only had it for three years. Any suggestions?

Xbox 360: Why won't the laser move back to the center of the disc?

I have two X360s that I'm trying to repair. The first one I fixed by replacing the worm drive motor, then I got this other one I'm trying to fix. Then the first one I repaired came back with the same problem again about a week later.

Both experienced the same problem of moving the laser beyond the rim of the disc (after several attempts to open and close the disc tray when the systems said "open tray" or loaded the disc incorrectly), and not returning to the spindle. I, of course, had the shell of the drive open so I could see the position of the laser.

Right now I'm trying to fix the second one I got. I bought a "new" worm drive motor this time, but that isn't working, either that or something else is stopping the laser from returning to the spindle.

I'm going to try and get some synthetic grease to lube the gears a bit better than WD-40 does, and I may try swapping some other parts, but I really could use some more pointed direction.

Xbox 360: Ethernet Port Not Working How Can I Replace It?

The ethernet port on my Xbox 360 is not working and I haven't seen anything relating to a replacement on this site or another. I am out of warranty and can't send it back to Microsoft beause it would cost me and arm and a leg. Any suggestions out there?

MY disc tray wont open sometimes unless i tap the top an it wont open standing up at all Help me i took it apart to clean laser

Xbox 360: I accidentally forgott were the potentiometer was from the beginning

My Xbox 360 wasn't loading disks so I looked It upp on youtube and disassembled the whole thing. Then I understood that I needed to adjust the potentiometer but accidentally did it to much, now I have been trying for over 2 hours to get to its original position! I heard that a multimeter could help but I don't have one or know how to use it.

Xbox 360: 3 Flashing Red LIghts on Xbox360

My XBox 360 Elite is flashing 3 red lights, not the full red ring of death. I have gone through all of the microsoft troubleshooting steps on their website as well as talked to customer support but no help. Of course they want me to send it back for repairs. I reviewed the guide on here about the red ring of death but before embarking on that little journey wanted to know if that is a solution to my issue as well or just for the full four red LEDs?

Xbox 360: Why is my 360 restarting over and over.

So i have an old 360 and i havent touched it in awhile but recently we want to use it for netflix. It updated after connecting it to the wifi. And then after turning it on now it will run for a little bit then make a click sound and power off and restart, turning itself back on. It will stay on if i dont run any app or game, somtimes. But as soon or shortly after starting a app it will make the click sound and restart. I took it apart and cleaned the years of dust out of it and put it back together and it still does it. Id like to know what i can do to fix it.
