Nokia Lumia 1020: Can LCD and outer screen be separated on Nokia Lumia 1020?

I have a nokia lumia 1020 which has a cracked outer screen, the LCD below is working perfectly and the touch function is also working, can they be separated in order to replace only the outer screen?

I've repaired a samsung galaxy s3 in this manner, but due to the fact there's not alot of help online regards the 1020 i'm unsure if it's based on the same principle.

Any help greatly received.......

I had the front panel glass replaced. And now the digitizer does not respond on the Nokia lumia 920. Nor the home and return bottons at the bottom.

Has anybody heard of this problem before?

I am getting told frequently from multiple callers that my voice is muffled or even non existent. I can not make any recordings on my device. I think there is an issue with my microphone.

Hi,

I have a Nokia Lumia 930 (same as the Icon), and 2 of my 4mics are dead. Can't use speakerphone, and can't record voice, recorded videos have mono sound, on skype video calls people can't hear me (same as speakerphone). The diagnostics showed the 3rd and 4th mic are faulty. They were working fine when I bought it. One day they just stopped working. Still has warranty, though, but Nokia Care told me it could take several days to replace. Can you help me to replace it myself?

Nokia Lumia 625: Battery not charging after screen replacement

The cracked screen was replaced and after reassembly it booted up normally.

Following that it is not recognised by a laptop for charging and did not power up normally after some time plugged in.

The battery is now flat and the phone unresponsive, what will fix this?

note: I also tried charging through another compatible micro to USB connector which did not work.

Hi. I just want to ask how WiFi can't connect at all or recognize them, as well as bluetooth, after I had its LCD repaired. I wonder why. I really don't know if it's a hardware removed or something. Hello. I recently purchased the Nokia Lumia 640 XL which has not been released in the United States yet. I cracked my screen today. After contacting Nokia I was told they couldn't see my IMEI number, 10,000 phones repair shop down the street said they couldn't fix windows phones, and my local Microsoft won't do repairs. Only replacements.

I seems like I will have to do it myself so can someone help me figure out where I need to go for equipment including the new screen itself? A written guide would also be nice.

I believe the screen itself is the only issue. Everything else on the phone works including the parts that are not cracked.

Nokia Lumia 620: Stuck in Airplane Mode

Hi there, my Lumia 620 is stuck in airplane mode. So far I have done a factory reset (cogs going around) and downloaded the Windows software recovery tool for windows phone and ran that through my PC (twice) but when it finally gets back to where the phone should be in use the airplane icon is still on top and if I go to settings to try to turn it off, it just springs straight back on. Any knowledge on this problem would be greatly appreciated as the phone is totally unusable.

Nokia Lumia 1520: The lower half of my screen, & physical keys are not responding.

Physical keys light up, lower part of the screen lights up & looks no diffrent from the other working part of the screen. Anyone know the problem, and it's possible fixes/est. on the repair? Thank you!
