I have a 3rd line nipple, straight, but NOT on carburetor, on body close to shaft. Anyone know the purpose of this nipple? How about where the line needs to go? FYI....only a two pole primer bulb, and, my trimmer has a choke.

Weed Whacker: How do I remove this trimmer head? Shakespeare Push-N-Load 3-Blade

The trimmer itself is a Stihl FS 40C, I cannot get the head to stop spinning in order to twist the Shakespeare head off of the threads. I can provide any additional information as needed. Thanks in advance!

Had problems with my strimmer leaking fuel from lines. Replaced them, but then started leaking out of the Carburetor. Bought a new Carburetor which seemed to fixed the problem and it started first pull (although priming bulb seemed very difficult to press and more bubbles than I can remember were inside). But after about 20 minutes of use the engine started dying and fuel started leaking out of the air filter. Anyone have any ideas or shall I call it a day.

Black and Decker Trimmer GL430: Motor slows down and stops

The motor gets hot and stops in a few seconds. The commutator has burn marks and beads of metal(?) alongside it. I have measured the resistances between each adjacent segment on the commutator, they are all between 3.5 and 4 ohm each. The brushes seem to be OK. Does the insulation break down? I tried cleaning it up but it goes bad the same way when turned on for a few seconds.

Ryobi String Trimmer RY4CSS 2019: Why is this diagram incorrect everywhere I look for it?

Every diagram I pull up for this RY4CSS, states that the spark plug is RCJ6Y. This is incorrect as the spark plug thread diameter is incorrect and won't even fit into the spark plug hole on RY4CSS.

When I pull the cord it is not engaging the starter. The cord pulls and retracts, but the starter is not being engaged. Is it the pull start?

My 'RYOBI25cc petrol strimmer has begun to create vibrations through the handholds. The engine seems to be running ok, and I continued using it ok. Apart from ending up with unacceptable buzzing and humming in my hands afterwards. Is there an adjustment to the way the engine runs to prevent excessive vibration? Any ideas gratefully received.

Hi. I have a Greenworks Weed Whacker Model #21212. I was in the middle of using it when it suddenly stopped working. Everything checked out and working as far as extension cord and power supply. After much research it came down to the thermal fuse probably burning out. Was hoping to get some help in figuring out how to replace this AND hopefully without having to solder the replacement fuse. I have a Troybilt TB635 EC. Recently I replaced primer bulb, fuel lines, and carburetor. I double checked that the three lines from primer bulb are correct and that there are no leaks where they connect to bulb or carb. However, when I press primer bulb about 5-6 times, gasoline will start coming out of the air filter port. Need help with this one please.
