my pleo hasnt got a broken neck its his skin that has split. i was wondering if there was a way of repairing him

I would like to fix my Dad's old 1940's Lionel train. It hasn't worked since the 1970's. I remember turning the switch on the Transformer back then and absolutely nothing happened. There are no Lionel repair shops nearby so how can I get this train running again?

Toy: Toy Tonka fire truck #36 Boom repair?

I have a late 90’s Tonka Fire truck #36 with the motorized boom ladder that rotates and should lift and lower. The boom motor runs, but the boom does not lift/lower. These historically had problems with the inner gear wearing out from what I could find online.

Wondering if anyone has discovered a guide for dis-assembly and repair/ replacement of the gear components in the boom? I would love to get the boom fixed, but am cautious about damaging the working side rotation mechanism in the process.

Furby: My Furbies won't move and they will turn off after a while

I have 4 furbies:

My 1999 one works perfectly fine, while my other 3 don't. They turn on but they don't move and they turn off after a while.

Could you help me find a solution, please? I'm very attached to these frubies since they were my childhood and it's sad seeing them like this.

I have a Sankyo bird toy that has a pull string mechanism. It is supposed to work like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yzi_vvtu...

While I fixed the music box I can't understand how to get the wings and eyes to move with the music. Any suggestion on how to fix it?

Or alternatively, a contact to Sankyo could be something :)

Furby: My Furby is not moving much and goes sleeping after 1 minute

My daughter's Furby just started to make this cracking noise with every word it says. Also the Furby's moving very quietly and not moving back and forward (at all).

Usually when the Furby goes to sleep, it will bend forward. Also the its ears (SOMETIMES) are not moving forward when going to sleep.

When the Furby is awake, it will last like 1 minute and its eyes will light off (and will go to sleep). It will only wake up if I shake it well.

I also noticed that will not react fast/properly when touching him.

The reset (or the change of personality modus which ONLY WENT GO 1 TIME)won't help.

I kindly ask for help. I speak also NL, ES and IT.

Hello -

I recently bought a Buzz Lightyear Deluxe retractable wings jet pack from ebay. Only when I received it, it didn't work, these are a deleted item now that you can no longer get. So I am looking at the possibility of repairing it, I have had it open & as far as I can see everything is connected ok, although I have thought about re-soldering all the electronics on again, there are three thing the toy should do - wings open & fold electronically, lights at the end of the wings light up & you can hear phrases from buzz lightyear, none of these functions work at all. The only thing that happens is when the function button is pressed, you can hear a slight crackle at times from the speaker, but that's it. Any help with this would be brilliant, maybe some tips or places I can try to get it fixed?? Please help!!

Hasbro furby 2012: Can I fix this furby?

Recently got a second hand furby boom from 2013. The seller claims it worked when he had it . So the furby reacted to noises, even if it didn't talk .But after a while it went instantly to sleep, the speaker is broken and I smelled a burning smell, one battery melted.

Would fixing the speaker help?? Is it battery corrosion?? Somone help.. the seller is really stubborn. Could it be some kind of battery corrosion
