Samsung Galaxy A14 5G: Screen shattered blackout and bleeding inside

I want to repair it on my own.(I can manage to hit certain buttons sometimes and accidentally make a call.)

What are all the parts and tools will need to buy and will I be able to find an easy step by step way to take it apart ,fix, and then reassemble . I'm betting this is cheaper than a company doing it or getting a new phone.

Thanks. Adam

Any other info you could give me before starting this endeavor

Update (12/04/25)

I have a Galaxy a,14 5g i love the phone, I called around and everyone wanted. Around $110 to fix it. I'm on fixed income so there are some things I just can't buy. The guy told me I could bring in my own screen and whatnot I really don't know what all parts I have to buy.

Just for reference, I can make call sometimes. It landed on its right side. And smacked screen first I could work with it for a while but now I can't touch any of the messages. It's hard enough to just unlock. The whole right side (while looking at it) has ian inky look and it has several red lines and some green. That go from top to bottom. Again it is starting to get really inky and harder and harder to do anything with.

I wanted to add pics maybe that would have been useful but I get get them over here to the question box here

Samsung Galaxy A12: Phone won't start after the "yellow triangle" on the charge screen

Hi! So I've dropped my Samsung Galaxy A12 into a pool recently, turned it off immediately and dissasembled it and left it to dry for 48 hours. After that I put it back together and plugged it in for charging and the screen with battery percentage appeared with a yellow triangle under it, so I unplugged it and tried turning it on and it doesnt seem to work at all anymore. Nothing happens when I plug it in or when I hold the power button. Is it completely dead now or is there something I can do? Thanks

Samsung Galaxy Phone S: Did I damage ribbon while trying to remove gluey loudspeaker

I dropped my S21 5G a month ago and found out that my charger daughter board did not work anymore. Everything else was fine about my phone.

This is my first major repair, and while I was trying to follow the steps. I figured that the refurbished shop I got my phone at, used a *** ton of glue. And now I can't easily remove the loudspeaker. In every video and the tutorial on this website it seemed really easy.

Now I see that I at some point poked a bit into the battery with my plastic tool, and also scratched a bit of the ribbon cable. Should I buy a new ribbon cable and some isopropanol alcohol? Im really scared im going to break something, but I think im really close to fixing my phone again haha.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Why isn't my usb c port working?

I just replaced the battery in my phone, i did everything as i was told by the guide and everything seems to be working except the usb c port.

It does not charge at all and only recognises my wired headphones, however it doesnt work with those either, just says usb connector plugged in.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting all the cables in the guide multiple times and there doesnt seem to be any noticable damage kn the phone.

Currently im using the wireless charging (which actually works) to try to calibrate the new battery (the old one plugged back in didnt work either).

Any ideas before i try to buy and replace the usb c daughter board?

Galaxy S20: Screen faded to black 1 hour after replacing battery and back glass

This morning I took swapped out the battery in my Galaxy S20. I used quite a bit of 91% isopropyl alcohol to pull the battery out. About an hour after the swap, while using my phone the screen suddenly went off-color and then faded to black over the span of 10 seconds, and it's been stuck black ever since. The touch screen still works and the phone still takes inputs; whatever is wrong is only affecting the display.
