I have had tis drill sitting in my shed for 5 years without any use. It worked fine when I last used it. Now it works in the front drill setting but not in the other 2 settings.

Hello community, recently I brought this Ryobi SDS65. Went I finally goin make the first use, I notice that rotary hamner mode wasn't engaging, the drill and the chissel mode works well. I proceed to openen and check the issue because I throw to the trash the box some weeks ago. Went I open the transmission chamber everything pop out 😑. I already found the issue (selector rod was jammed with him self), but due to the pop out of the assemblies, not know the correct position of the pieces. I do some reverse engineering and have some advances, but I stuck here, and went I try to putted back to the chamber, not fit well, soo I don't know if I assembled the pieces correctly and don't know the trick to assemble back to the chamber without everything dismount again and fit well.

The hammer drill will not run continuous for more than 30 seconds . Then re-squeeze the trigger then will run maybe 30 seconds. I have changed the switch . The cord is brand new.

Rotary Hammer: Rotary hammer only rotates when held vertically

Very inexpensive (i.e. cheap) rotary hammer, ~ 20 years old
Only rotates when held vertically. As soon as it is tilted slightly, it stops. When it turns, it drills without any problems, even with hammer.
The problem has worsened considerably in a few weeks, now it hardly starts at all.
The carbon brushes still look good, but I have changed them anyway - no change.

Is there any hope for the hammer drill?
