I have a Kaiser air compressor which is over heating the power cable

I did a continuity test at the power terminals on the compressor it read:

*Red-Yellow phase read Open(No continuity)

*Yellow-Blue phase read Continuity

Rotary Tool: I need a bridge rectifier for my vintage Dremel tool

I have a vintage Dremel "Moto-Tool", model 270 series 66-2. It stopped working recently and a part was blown. I figured out it is a bridge rectifier. It is between the mains and the motor. It's a pretty simple circuit.

My challenge is finding this part. Does anyone know what the specifications of this part is and where I can find one? Thanks!

My brother has this impact and when he pulls the trigger it works fine, it’s when he lets off the trigger when it comes to a slow stop rather than a quick stop, is this a trigger issue? I don’t have that impact to compare it to.

My B&D KX1693 works fine on settings 1 & 2 but when put on 3 nothing happens, the fan is not on and no heat produced.

Milwaukee Circular Saw: How do I replace the spindle gear on Milwaukee cordless circular saw?

I was given a Milwaukee 18V cordless circular saw, Model 6310-20, Serial 057A----.
I took the saw apart and found a number of broken teeth on the spindle gear. The gear at the end of the armature shaft is in good condition.
The Milwaukee parts diagram shows that the gear and spindle shaft are separate parts.
There is no circlip holding the gear on to the spindle shaft or woodruff key keying the gear to the shaft.
Is the old gear just pressed off of the spindle shaft and the new gear pressed on?

Craftsman 315.108220: How to lock the blade shaft on a Craftsman 315.108220 circular saw?

Does anyone know whether there is a “brake” on the driven saw blade shaft of this model so you can unscrew the blade bolt? If not can you suggest how I can lock the shaft and remove the blade bolt? The blade is loose and freely rotates on the shaft but it is impossible to remove the blade bolt because the blade shaft and the armature turn. I seek suggestions how I can lock the shaft and thus remove the blade bolt. Because the saw blade can not be removed, I can’t fully disassemble the saw and thus gain access to the gear case where I could lock the shaft..

i have a dewalt impact drill and the bit is stuck, im pretty sure i put the wrong bit inside and now its stuck and ive tried everything to get it out and its not working, is there a way to take it apart and then take it out or is the answer just brute force, i dont really want to damage the actual drill, i dont understand how its stuck to be honest, i think the drill holds the square type of drill bit and i put a smooth drill bit inside to do a quick job and did not have the normal drill, if anyone has any recommendations that would be awesome thank you

Driver: Trigger not triggering impact driver - how to diagnose/fix?

My erbauer impact driver started having intermittent problems where the trigger would t trigger the driver. This has gradually got worse, no it never works.

it’s not the battery, that works in the drill fine.

I’ve squirted contact cleaner in it, no joy.

you can see the problem in the video, you can see how the contact light flickers, it’s like there isn’t enough contact to get the thing going.

im not knowledgable enough to know what this means or how to diagnose it further.

Anyone any ideas?
