Microcomputers: computer not displaying on screen

The computer do get power:1 power supply light is on

2 All fans are running and dvd ram, harddrive.

3 Mother bord light is on

The screen says no signal.

Hey! Can someone tell me how to make a RAM upgrade (soldered/on-board RAM) for the Fujitsu Lifebook U939/C possible? Where are the RAM configuration strap resistors located? I'm stuck with this 4GB RAM version (basically e-waste). Any answer would mean a lot, a full schematic would help even more!! 😹

Dell XPS 15 9560: Why is my cpu clock speed always dropping to 0.79ghz?

Okay so I have a Dell xps 15 9560 core i5 7th gen 4gb dedicated gtx 1050

So the cpu clock speed always drop to 0.79-0.80ghz every time I run a game. Thereby causing the game and the laptop to lag.

I’ve cleaned the motherboard, the fans, and opened the cpu and gpu and the thermal paste still intact and not dry

I’ve cleaned the heat dessipitating panel.

I’ve undervolted it yet it still happens.

How do I fix this issue? Does that mean I can’t game with the laptop?

Panasonic Toughbook CF-29: Laptop is Powered On but Screen is Black and Wont Turn On

The power light and MP are green lit, and when I plug in the power source the battery green light comes on, but the screen is not responding. Last time the device was used was in April and did not have a problem. It has been plugged into the battery source since and not opened. I have tried taking the battery out and running just off the power source, but same result. I have tried turning off and on a few times, same result. My next thought was to let the battery die and then plug back in and see if that makes a difference? Any advice?

HP Elitebook 840 G8: Laptop won't start up after I opened the back

I shut my 840 G8 down. turned it over to open the back. I unscrewed the screws and gently pryed the back panel open. I pulled off the cover over the nvme ssd. All I wanted was to see how it looked like. After that I put the metal cover back over the ssd and put the back panel in place and screwed the screws in place.

After this the laptop won't start.

What can I have done?

Toshiba Satellite P850 Series: Power button flashes but won't turn on.

The power button flashes five time when pushed, then nothing. Removed battery, unplugged left overnight and retried;same results. Worked fine two days ago.

Intel NUC: NUC working fine for a few years, but suddenly no HDMI signal

Hi, my NUC7i7DNK worked fine for a few years as a media PC connected to a 75" TV. Now when I came home from a week vacation the NUC do not seem to give any HDMI screen signal any more. I have tried another HDMI cable, I have got another PC to view sccreen on the same HDMI port on the TV. Restart of the NUC does not help... When I restart the NUC the power LED blinks a few time and end up having orange continuous light. The TV seems to notice that the NUC HDMI cablle is connected (because that HDMI input nuber is showing n the TV but TV still says no signall). Disconnecting the NNUC HDMI makes the HDMI input disappaer from the TV screen. Connecting another PC it shows the screen on the TV. What error/fautt suddenly appaering can cause such behaviour?

Hey,

I just bought this laptop used and its not starting, the carging led is on when plugged in and the battery one too, even the power button lights up, but no matter its not starting.

The only other thing it does is starting up the cooling fan at a, what sounds like, very high RPM when the powerbutton is held down longer then about 30 seconds and stops when i let go.

I unfortunatly can't contact the seller to ask him about it

My ASUS VivoBook touchpad with numpad has gosttouch and doesnt work from time to time. I tried to sent it back to asus for repairs but it didn’t work, so now ik want to do it myself. Is it possible to repclace your touchpad or should i go to a professional?
