LG Laptop: Replacment battery doesn't charge

I have an LG GRAM 17" notebook. I have tried replacing the battery on 4 different occasions with different batteries obtained from EBAY. The battery will not charge past 15 or 16% in each case. I made sure to order a battery this time that was advertised as an OEM battery. Same thing. I put in my original battery it charges fully but doesn't last as long as it should. I tried unplugging the battery, starting up the noteook and then deleting from device manager the battery apps. I then shut down and unplugged the machine. Unplugged the battery and held down the power on key for 30 seconds. Replugged in battery, rebooted to no avail. None of this has worked. It seems it will ONLY recognize the original battery. What can I do?

LG Laptop: How to fit 90Wh battery in regular LG Gram 17?

The regular LG Gram 17 (i.e. with integrated Intel graphics, e.g. my model from 2022) comes with a 80Wh battery, which in my case doesn't reliably hold its charge anymore after a couple of years of usage.

I bought new original replacement battery, but that has 90Wh and larger physical dimensions. It works electronically (powering and charging).

But there are those tiny tabs sticking out from the topcase that normally hold the 80Wh battery in place (i call i the "inner" tabs). Now those prevent the slightly larger 90Wh battery from fitting in (potentially held in place by another set of "outer" tabs).

I'd like to get some advice as to whether and how to safely remove those "inner" tabs wihtout damaging the topcase from which they stick out (same material).

Anyone tried this before?

Hello,

Have my laptop with one of the hinges stuck (i was able to open the screen, but it dont move)

the hinges are reparable? and how to do it - need some help (guiding) for it.

Also where we can find hinges spare parts...in the LG oficial website, is not possible to find it...

The screen/lid on my 15Z980-A.AAS8U1 is wobbly and I suspect one of the hinges is broken or loose. How do I go about fixing this? If I need new hinge parts, where can I order them?

Hi. I have a LG Gram 13 from 2018 with model name 13Z980-U.AAW5U1. I am trying to find a replacement foot for it. From some sleuthing the part is mdp63586901. However, I could not find a seller for the US. Does anyone have any idea how I can find this part or a same-shape different-color version?

I have an LG 17 and the rubber feet are held onto the case with some kind of sticky substance that never dries out. A couple of the feet have "lost" that sticky substance. Have looked around locally, but nothing comparable to be found. Anybody know where I can get some of this goo? TIA!
