LG G2 mini LTE: Touch screen sensitivity, only picks up touch

I recently had a cracked screen replaced on my LG g2 mini d620 and it now only picks up touch on the screen. It doesn't pick up multiple touch or sliding/scrolling on screen. I hav been told it may have to do with sensors or something but no idea how to fix it. Any suggestions? i am not experienced with these things but i believe the guys who replaced screen are taking me for a ride

I have been using my nexus 5 constantly recently whenever I plug in my phone to charge it usually begins to touch stuff without my fingers there.

I'm trying to replace the sim card reader on a nexus 5. Can I solder in the replacement piece without taking the shield off of the replacement reader?

Also if anyone found a guide they like that goes through re soldering a sim reader that would be greatly appreciated.

LG G2 mini LTE: Phone cannot boot at all

So I got a bit of experince with the different boot modes in Android, the different key-bindings etc.

Anyways further on to the actual question/problem, so last night I but my phone next to the bed on the floor, while it was connected to the charger, as I always do. 5 hours later I tried to boot it on, it did not even get to the boot logo for the powering off, nothing happened. Tried to acces bootloader/recovery, none of those worked. Seems like the phone is completely dead. Even when I connect it to charging it doesnt boot up again. So my question is, which part of the actual phone is causing this? It isn't any software related issues, because then it would still be able to acces bootloader etc as that is seperated from the actually on going system. So what do I do? Anything possible? :)

I have replaced the screen digitizer for the second time. After the first I returned it because I had no touch screen working so I did it a second time and the same result. Touchscreen worked just fine before.

LG G2: Wont charge while on, won't turn on if plastic casings are on.

This is a strange one. My LG G2 D802 will not charge while the phone is on. I have to turn the phone off, remove the back plastic cover, unscrew the screws for the plastic cover that protects the ribbon cable connections and logic board, and THEN I can plug the phone in to charge, but I must leave it off. If I turn it on, it won't charge.

I also have to do the same procedure to turn the phone on. If that logic board plastic cover is in any way snapped in place and screwed down, the phone won't turn on or charge (even when off).

It almost sounds like something is being shorted. Any ideas?

Also, from time to time while the phone is off and charging it will stop and say that the device is too hot or cold to continue charging and suggests I move it somewhere else.

Help?

HI, I have an LG-E980,a friend of mine dropped my phone and it just blacked out, so when I plugged the charger in, only the two button beside the home button lit up, but now they wont even light up, I have since then replaced the charger port flex, bought a new batter and a new screen and still nothing….what could be the problem? Oh yea, I’ve done and re done the procedure about four times to make sure everything was plugged in correctly and still cant get any response out of the phone….Could there be something wrong with the main board itself?

LG k10: Power button failing when in the dark?

Just got a LG K10, for some reason if I'm in a dark area the power button/volume buttons become unresponsive. This issue does not exist in well lit environments. Anyone else experiencing this, or does anyone know why this might happen?

Hi all, I've been scouring the interwebs for the past days trying to find the correct community to answer my question regarding Mainboard troubleshooting. Forgive me if this isn't the right one for it but I'll try to ask anyway in hopes of finding more information. So I tore down my V60 and found an IC (?) has come loose and some other components not present on my Board when referencing teardown vidoes on the web and I'm trying to figure out what these parts are called and what they do. I'd very much appreciate any kind of information regarding this question of mine. I've made a post on r/mobilerepair already and am linking the Imgur photos here.

LG G2: Loudspeaker not working after drop

Today I dropped my LG G2 VS980 while it was in its case. Immediately afterward, the main loudspeaker (near the microUSB port) stopped working. I later discovered, quite by accident, that I could get some sound by holding it vertically and holding the volume up button. From my searches, it seems most likely that the speaker came unseated, however I want to make sure I have been through all of my options before I attempt to disassemble the phone. I have rebooted with no success, and when combined with the fact that audio stopped working the second I dropped the phone (I had audio playing at the time), I doubt that it is a software problem. That said, I can provide software specifications as needed.
