Jura E8: Jura brew group motor stuck on top

My Jura E8 brew group is stuck at the extreme point at the top, it is not the brew group that I have overhauled and checked. The motor is also good and I tested 3 different encoders but still the same problem. If the engine is loose from the machine, the engine continues to rotate continuously to the left and does not reverse. Anyone who might know something about this? I would really like to hear from you!

Jura Impressa C E F Modelle: Power button only works when held and machine stuck on "remove tray"

I have a Jura Impressa C5, I needed to clean the spout as one of the outlets was blocked. I removed and cleaned the spout using the guide here, but unfortunately after cleaning and reassembling, the unit no longer works.

Pressing the power button no longer turns on the machine, I need to hold it in order for the machine to come on. Releasing the power button immediately shuts off the unit.

When the power button is held, the unit is stuck in the "remove tray" mode and does not progress. I have tried the reset option, removing the tray, the bin shelve and the grinds bin, then reinserting the tray and the bin shelve without the grinds bin. I also tried activating the microswitch inside manually. Neither yielded any result.

There do not appear to be any contacts inside this model to be cleaned, but I may have missed them.

I have carefully searched the machine, but no wires seem to be broken or stuck.

Opening the power button container I found that the switches appear to be working fine, closing and starting the machine when the button is pressed in but opening when the button is released.

Any suggestions on resolving this?

EDIT: for clarification, a photo of the connectors to the front panel, rotary switch left.

Jura Capresso IMPRESSA J5: My machine refuses to show any signs of powering up

That breakdown was very helpful in getting the machine apart. Thank you for the great wok in creating and posting. The custom tool for the oval headed screws is readily available now and cost about $10 from ebay or similar.

My machine refuses to show any signs of powering up. It’s not the fuse as I can measure 240V AC making it to the PCBs. So suspecting there is something wrong with the power supply PCB or further down the line. No sign of damaged components - either burnt or capacitors that have blown.

So wondering if anyone has any info on the PCBs. I have found quite detailed repair guides for TVs on youtube but so far nothing for J5s.

Update (08/26/21)

@oldturkey03 - thanks for your response and interest. Here’s the PCB images.

They are not easy to get clearly. In some places discoloration that looks like over-heating but it is not that way on the actual PCB.

The closest I’ve found to a circuit diagram of the PIXX-PRD-12 board is on page 4 of this pdf - the one labeled PIXX-PRD-13. It’s not exact however the components (e.g. the diodes and labels) show the same general intent.

Impressa A9: Jura A9 won’t turn on!

Hello everyone,

My Jura A9 acted weird lately, when starting brewing or grinder it would just shut off abruptly!

The other day that was it, it stopped working completely.

After opening it and following some tutorials i couldn’t find anything wrong inside. The grinder ok, the brewing unit ok, the swith (1) ok, the PCBA (2) ok no signs of burnt area, same for the pcba of the display, fuses (3) ok, thermocouple (4) ok… the only doubt I have is on the 2 capacitors (5) one of them makes a weird noise like a buzz noise. I do have a voltage but nothing, the machine won’t turn on.

Any idea on what I can check?

Thanks for your help.

I have the Jura F50 Classic modal.

Problem: The machine is turning off at random times.

(The machine was working for 2 year on the same power outlet.)

What i have checked:

1) Its not the switch-off menu timer.

2) It might turn off in the middle of making a coffee or after few seconds that is turned on.

3) I have replaced the temperature Fuse connected to the thermoblock.

4) I examine the power board & everything looks sparkling new.

5) No discolored wires found anywhere.

6) I unplugged & re-plugged all the connectors (in case of corrosion).

Please let me know if forgot something else to check or maybe replace?

If you help me fix my precious morning kick, coffee is on me! ;)

Thank you all for checking on this issue :D

Jura Capresso IMPRESSA J5: Jura J5: Tray missing ongoing

Hello,

We've had Jura Impresa J5 for around 5 years now. We use it daily to make about 3-5 cups of coffee a day.

From the beginning the machine was prone to displaying "Tray missing". When it was sent to Jura repair centre it was return as "no problems all is good". The problem continued over the years and the way to fix was to turn it on and off, clean the metal contacts at the end of the tray, bang it more forcefully

And now nothing works. I have a feeling the problem is that the contacts are no longer touching the end where they indicate that the tray is inserted.

I’ve tried every fix possible having to do with cleaning in the back of the tray and grounds in chamber.

Recently, over several weeks, the water flow from my Jura S9 has been poor. Very slow to dispense coffee and sometimes the stream even stops and restarts. Today, while dispensing, there was a loud pop, like a circuit breaker popped. I could hear sizzling after that. The machine kept going, but no more coffee came out. After that, I tried a rinse cycle. It ran, but the water came out from the bottom instead of the spout.

There are no error messages displayed. It doesn’t seem to know it’s broken.
