HP EliteOne 800: How come my computer is always really hot?

The computer gets hot a few minutes after turning on and I think it might be overheating. It has shut down after extended use.

HP EliteOne 800: Why do my keyboard and mouse run out of battery so fast?

The keyboard and mouse on my HP EliteOne 800 (unsure if it is a G1 or G2) seem to turn off after a very short period of being on. Replacing the batteries only makes them work for a little while. After a couple uses, they won't turn on at all. No lights will come on and they seem to malfunction sometimes when "low" on batteries.

how do i reinstall windows on my hp pavilion 551w . when i turn the compter on it boots up to a point where it shows a blank screen with a cursor blinking. it does not go any further. im trying to install windows on the hard drive. thank you

When I press the on button there is no response at all. Also the button itself has a slightly different feel. Is button broken? If so, how do I replace it? What are other possibilities? Thanx. Forgot to say; computer is HP a660n.

My HP AIO 24-f0015nx just got smashed (I forgot I was using wired headphones, and I stood up and the cable yanked the pc off the desk and it smacked face first onto the floor)

Rather than fixing it, I gutted it and am working on converting it into a custom SFF build.

I recently had the idea of absolutely maxing out all the specs. It has an LGA 1151 socket for 8th and 9th gen CPUs. It currently has an i7-9700T. What is the maximum supported CPU, and how much RAM can I install with that CPU?

so, I have a pre built gaming pc. its a HP Pavillion. my monitor randomly shuts off mid game. like yesterday, i was playing roblox and it shut off but my pc was still on. then my pc makes a buzzing/static noise through my headphones, kinda like it blue screens, however my pc stayed on. the only way of fixing the issue is forcing it to shut down by holding down the power button. when it turns back on, it acts as if nothing ever happened. does anyone know the cause of this? i treat my pc like its my baby. i clean it, make sure it has enough air flow, and everything else. it isnt too full either, i have a lot of storage not being used. below, i attatched a youtube link to a video i made about the noise. How do i fix my computer from a blue screen. When i boot the computer it starts up normally then it goes to a screen that says start windows normally etc. Then when you pick starts windows normally it goes into a blue screen and ask me to repair windows or the hard drive. When i try to repair it it says it did not find any problem.

so i have a computer that is very old and had blown up capicators, i replaced those capicators with the correct value, correct position, and i plugged in the correct wiring, the fans but then stop, i tried different wiring, different capicatior positioning, and nothing works, any hope?

HP TouchSmart 600: Power supply unit is working but no power to computer

Computer was working and stopped overnight. I believe the Power Supply Unit is still working (green light on the PSU is on and there is a brief flicker of light on the computer light bar when I do the unplug/hold power button for 10 seconds routine) but nothing happening with the power button/computer otherwise (i.e., no lights/whirring sounds/clicks to indicate anything is on). I have read this might be a motherboard issue or perhaps the connecting ribbon from the power supply to the computer. Any ideas/suggestions/answers?

When I was trying to power on my pc, the lights would come on for a couple seconds, then it goes out. I have unplugged and reconnected. I have replaced the surge protector. I have disconnected the wireless printer. There is power in the surge protector, and the light is on the hp monitor and the speakers.

Hi all, thank you for your quick replies! I'm not even sure where I would plug in a hard drive if I found one, but that is the least of my problems right now. The tower will no longer turn on after I removed the core and reinstalled it!! I'm not sure what I did wrong as it is totally seated properly, and the PC is still getting power, but the fan for the PSU won't even turn on now. Help!!
