Casio CTK-501: Is my Casio Keboard broken? or just the DC Power Supply?

So my Casio CT-600 Keyboard runs a DC 9V Powersupply. My friend accidentally connected it to a 220V Outlet (My keyboard needs only a 110V btw, so it has its own transformer.) After that the Keyboard didn’t work. I was planning to buy a replacement for my DC Power Supply, but before I do, I really need to know what’s broken. Can anyone please answer, I would really appriciate it. Thank you!

Electronic Keyboard: Korg Kross 2 - Pitches reversed or not sounding

Problem 1: Pitches reversed

Keyboard worked great for 4-5 years but this week the notes started playing backwards (high pitches on the left, low pitches on the right). Three keys on the left side don't sound (Bb2-C3). And an octave of keys on the right side (C#6-B6) don't sound.

Problem 2: Memory corruption

Each time I turn the keyboard on, it says "Now writing to internal memory" for a few seconds. Then it displays the message "System warning: The internal memory has been corrupted, likely due to an interruption of power while the system was writing/saving data. This has been repaired and the affected Bank has been initialized."

I can't think of when it would have lost power while writing to internal memory. I almost never save anything.

What I tried so far

In an attempt to resolve the issue, I upgraded to the latest firmware 1.22 (previously on 1.21). Per the "Restoring the factories settings" section of the manual, I tried "Loading the preloaded data" and "Initializing the system". After each attempt, I got the same results.

Any ideas?

Electronic Keyboard: Problem with yamaha P95 Keyborad

I'm having an issue with my Yamaha P95. Some keys blast very loud without even touching them when playing some chords. I've been facing this problem for 1 week now. I only bought the piano 3 weeks ago second hand and the first 2 weeks everything was working perfectly fine. I tried to clean all the dust inside the piano but I can't really open the top and reach under the keys. I dont really know if the dust is even a problem or maybe the moist and cold Sydney air. One thing I noticed is that under the keys the is a very creamy texure sticking, almost like vaseline. I really need help as I cant play at all like this. Any assist would be highly appreciated.

Here the problem:

Electronic Keyboard: Yamaha P105 Keyboard no sound. Bad Amp, DAC or Potentiometer?

Hey everyone,

I have a Yamaha P105 keyboard that I picked up for free. It's in great physical condition, but the sound is broken and I'm trying to understand why.

By broken I mean that there is no keyboard sound and the demo songs don't work. The only sound I can get out of it is what sounds like a bit crushed/distorted audio when I select one of the keyboard sounds or the demo songs. It plays for about a second then nothing. I know that the CPU works because the MIDI system works perfect, all of the keys work, the buttons work, the lights work and the debug options work.

This keyboard has 3 different audio outputs; the onboard speakers, the headphone out, and the line outs. I was expecting there to be some differences between them, but the same problem is present on all of the outputs, which is the lack of piano sound and only the strange distortion that plays when changing modes. Interestingly, changing the volume does produce a scratchy sound that is typical of potentiometer failure, but the distorted sound effect does indeed get louder as I increase the volume.

I don't have a schematic for this, and originally I was thinking that amplifier chip (YDA 175) was damaged, but since the problem is also present on the Line Outs, I am more inclined to think that the DAC (WM8524) is damaged somehow.

I suspected the amplifier because of this post I found, but the chip on my board has no signs of damage.

<ins>https://www.alexanderpeppe.com/yamaha-p1...</ins>

My board looks like this:

Amplifier chip is IC22 and the DAC is IC23. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Does a DAC chip fail like this? Could it be the amplifier, or the volume potentiometer? Any help at all would be appreciated!
