Kobo Forma: Alguém ficou sem poder carregar de um dia para o outro

A ultima vez que carreguei o meu Kobo durou 15 dias até baixar aos 10%, infelizmente distrai me e chegou aos três por cento, quando eu fui pôr a carregar apareceu a mensagem “por favor carregar eREADER“ e a partir desse dia apesar de ter carregado com vários cabos diferentes carregadores diferentes nunca mais passou de um ecrã negro com essa frase, é estranho como é que de um dia para o outro isto acontece.

Isto aconteceu há mais alguém, e como é que resolveram, não me apetece comprar um KOBO novo quando este estava a funcionar muito bem.

Kobo Nia: Problemas com bateria de Kobo Nia

Liguei o meu Kobo Nia por uma noite inteira à ficha e ele carregou até aos 100%. No entanto, com cada descida de 1% de bateria, o dispositivo diz que está sem bateria e pede para ser carregado. Já tentei reiniciar o dispositivo, verificar a porta de carregamento e usar cabos e carregadores diferentes, mas o problema persiste.

This is not a question -- this is a quick note on my attempt to replace the battery in Boox Max 2 (a 1000 Euro device), Maybe it will help someone out there. My device had a thick layer of hot-melt glue below the rim, gluing the unit shut and hiding screws behind that need to be removed to access the battery. The glue had no function in water-proofing the device, it only appeared to be there to prevent self-repair. If you can't lift the rim with a blade, do not attempt further and use a hair dryer/heat gun to soften the glue or send the unit to Onyx. The battery inside is soldered to the motherboard. One can cut the cables and solder to the cables. The white cable did not need to be connected to a battery protection board to power up the unit. I was able to power my up with a lab power supply set to 3.8V (a this setting, the battery shows at 50% full). The unit draws as much as 1.2A during power up.

I will never buy an e-reader again w/o checking its repairability score. At least not for this amount of money,

P.S. If anyone wants parts from the damaged unit, let me know. The motherboard seems OK. I am in Europe.

Kobo Libra 2: Why is my kobo in white page and cannot be reset?

My kobo intially shows an error message and cannot be updated. Then it now turns to white page and cannot be reset.

Kobo Nia: Rubber Power button cover replacement

My N3060 NIA has a rubber membrane covering the power button. The membrane on my KOBO is so worn out that I have removed it. I can still turn the unit on using a tooth pic or match stick. Can I get a replacement rubber membrane/power button cover?

Hi, after dropping my Kobo Clara Colour device, though the screen was not broken, the image became distorted. There were also lines on the image. Should I replace the motherboard or screen?

Hi Kobo Support,

My Kobo Colour Libra has been stuck on a book cover page, being unresponsive to anh touch or button response. I tried charging it, but the charge light usually does not.come on (only sometimes, but most of the time it does not indicate that it is charging). I am also unable to switch it on/off or restart it.

My kobo's warranty has sadly expired. Please do help me in this, thank you!

By accident the Kobo was washed in the washing machine. It probably is damaged by the water, because it is not working anymore.

Kobo: Can I use the parts of Kobo Nia to fix my Kobo Clara HD or vice versa?

Hi! The motherboard of my Clara HD is broken, and I bought a Nia that has a broken screen. Can I cannibalize the motherboard from the Nia to my Clara HD? Or can I use the working screen from my Clara HD to Nia?

Kobo Libra Colour: Is this a scratched screen or the cover?

My Kobo has this weird scratches and I don't know what to get in order to fix it. I can clearly see the words in light mood but it's textured and blurry, looks like the film piece came of and allowing the light to strike through the scratches ever since I got it.

Kobo: Is my battery still useable (slight creases)

I recently changed the screen of my Kobo Clara BW. In the process, I had to remove the battery which was glued very well. This made the process difficult and resulted in some noticeable creases.

There is no smell, no puncture. I'd say there are no dents; and after the screen replacement, and putting the battery back in, the Kobo works just like it used to. Is it unwise to keep using the battery? I don't know how to assess if the damage is grave or minor.

My Kobo Clara BW N365B was recently damaged by being carried in my back with a few other books, and it must have gotten squished between them, and now the screen is totally shot so I'd like to replace it. It appears as though the screen being sold through iFixIt is for the N365 model specifically.

I'm attempting to determine if the screen is in any way compatible with the N365B model. It seems as though it's not, but I was hoping for a definitive answer. If not, any guidance on where I may be able to source one would be greatly appreciated, as Kobo Support was not of any assistance.

Kobo Libra 2: Screen white and light flashing

Hi, I tried to upload a file with Calibre and the Libra 2 stopped working. I tried to reset it, but screen became white and flash began lightening. Now I can turn it on and off, but basically nothing happens, but screen is white and light is flashing. When plugged, PC recognized something but is not able to identify the device. Any idea? Thanks.
