Dell U2717D: How to replace cracked LCD?

So this screen had a small tumble and the cracked screen seems to have damaged the LCD panel. Any tips on parts/tools to repair it?

Ever since about a year after I bought this monitor (once the warranty expired), it has been very temperamental. Sometimes it refuses to see the HDMI or DP signal (it happens on both) for an hour or 2 (keeps telling me searching for signal and going into standby mode) and then suddenly starts working again.

The cables I use work perfectly fine with my 4k TV, so it's unlikely to be the cables. This issue also happens randomly with every computer, game console and devices I have (and those same devices work perfectly fine with my TV). At this point, I'm wondering if it's one of:

Driver board
Power supply

There's also some white/pink tinge that starts appearing on the side but it's usually after using it for a couple of hours. If I turn it off for a couple of days, this completely disappears.

I've recently noticed that it's not that hard to open and that the driver board is available for around 50 usd so I'm wondering if it might be worth trying to fix.

So to any experts, what could cause those random issues with finding signal? Is it usually due to the driver board? Would replacing it work?

This was working perfectly until it during use it make a click monitor went dark. It seems to still light up in some way, just no display. Even the built in menus are not visible. Any chance I can fix this myself? Thanks

Just bought this monitor used. Works great, but there are gray blobs visible when viewing brighter colors.

The blobs have defined edges. Perhaps water damage or pressure damage.

Any thoughts would be helpful. I will repair myself, if that is possible.
