My computer is showing all the signs of a dead cpu but I’m not sure. It turn on the fans turn on but there is no display output and I can’t get anything to happen when I press any buttons on my keyboard or mouse. What do you guys think.

ATX Mid Tower Computer: Why won’t my pc post after I’ve tried everything?

My PC used to boot up, but now it won’t. All it will do is start, run for 30 seconds, and not post then boot loop and restart. I have to shut it off from the power supply to turn it off as the case button won’t. This happened with my original build, so I replaced the motherboard and cpu, thinking it was my old cpu since I had a bent pin on the last one. Yet, the problem persists. I bought a new motherboard that has argb unlike the old one, and my argb fans will flash when I turn the psu on and then never fully turn on. I’m suspecting RAM or PSU considering it won’t post. The PSU was used and bought from a friend working.

CPU: Ryzen 5 4500

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Eagle WIFI6

RAM: OLOY DDR4 RAM 16GB (2x8GB) 3000 MHz CL16 1.35V 288-Pin Desktop Gaming UDIMM (MD4U083016BJDA)

GPU: ASUS GTX 550 Ti(yes yes, I know it’s old, but it should be working as the pc problem persists even when I remove it)

PSU: Thermaltake Smart 650W 80+ Gold Non-modular power supply(it’s an older one)

Case(if needed): Corsair 3500X ARGB

Hello everyone. I've been trying all day to make my PC check all requirements of PC Health Check in order to be compatible with windows 11. Still the same problem. "This device must support Secure Boot"

Motherboard: Asrock B365 PRO4

current OS: Win 10

My OS driive is in GPT format

I have an installed Asrock TMP 2.0 as you can see on the picture below

I've watched tutorials on youtube and tried different things and still can't fix it.

I tried:

I updated the bios to the latest stable version, because it was written that it supports windows 11

I tried those things from the official site of the motherboard and from youtube tutorials

I am desperate, I Don't know what else to do! Can someone help me, please? I really want to install windows 11, and no, I don't want one of those hacked versions of windows from torrent sites.

Hi, every time I turn on the PC this message appears "Please enter setup to recover Bios setting.

When Raid configuration was bulit,ensure to set SATA configuration to RAID mode.

Press F1 to run SETUP."

What should I do to solve this problem every time I start the PC?

Solved I changed the bios battery and solved the problem.

First when i didnt install ram my pc booted good but next day it didn't work,

Then i install ram for it, it still not

I tried many ways and when i uninstall the vga it works

Hi all,

Been asked to fix a pc again, it needed a new powersupply so I fitted that. All good, mother in lA picked it up, took it back when they got home something had happened as a stick of ram was out of its slot (lord knows how) now it’s no displaying anything.

I’ve taken the whole pc apart taken out the cmos battery. Replaced everything. And the bios flickered on for a min then selected boot and it returned to no display.

Can’t think of anything apart the mobo is fried, any advice?

ATX Mid Tower Computer: Why does my monitor lose signal when gaming?

So when I’m gaming, my monitor loses signal however my pc keeps running. In order to fix the problem I have to restart my PC. I have tried replacing my GPU and PSU so it’s a pretty good assumption that it isn’t one of these two components causing the issue. Also to note, this happens more often when I am running a more powerful game, and it also happens more often on a hot day - to suggest that the stem of the problem is something to do with overheating. This problem has been ongoing for a long time so any help would be much appreciated.

ATX Mid Tower Computer: Why is my computer restarting when playing game?

I recently purchased Spyro Trilogy for PC.

30 to 40 minutes into gameplay, my computer restarts. No blue screen, no indication.

Temps on CPU + GPU are within normal range. Thermal paste has been changed too.

There is no visible sign of damage on the motherboard, or burning odour. Fans operating normally too.

Harddrive has been scanned for bad sectors, but it is completely fine.

**Another thing that happened is, after the comp restarted, I went back into Spyro, and another reset occurred, but this time, the computer fell into a bootloop. I had to turn it off for about an hour before starting it back up. I thought it may have been a thermal issue, but the temps have always been in normal range.

ATX Mid Tower Computer: Windows install not detected after restart

I was trying to get Windows 7 installed on my MacBook, first trying the install USB on the MacBook itself, which didn’t work. So I tried it in my custom built computer. The drive booted, but my peripherals would not work. (keyboard, mouse, webcam, etc.) Now I can’t boot into my windows install. It’s not a problem with the SSD itself, as my bootloader is installer on it and works just fine, and the Windows install is detected within my install of macOS Monterey. It just isn’t shown in my BIOS or bootloader. Will post a picture of the bootloader soon.

Specs:

Gigabyte B450M DS3H

Ryzen 5 2600

4x8gb 2666MHz RAM (OC to 3200)

XPG Spectrix S40G (where Windows and Opencore lie)

ATX Mid Tower Computer: No display after rebuilding my PC. I need help!

I’m having trouble with getting my PC to display on my monitor & I don’t know what’s going on. On my first built, I forgot to buy a GPU & came across the “No display” message once I plugged in everything. I couldn’t get it to POST at all. I had my monitor’s HDMI in my Mobo’s HDMI slot. So I bought a GPU, set it up, & still comes across the same thing.

The PC powers on & everything. The cooling fans & the GPU fans are working fine. I use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter for it. But I still get no display on my monitor. I hooked up my Nintendo Switch to the monitor & it worked perfectly fine. So I decided to hook my PC to my TV & get no signal.

I double checked everything with the user manual & done everything correctly. Made sure there is no loose or missing cables & parts. Still coming across the same “No display.” My monitor is set on HDMI. I don’t know of it’s underpowered by the PSU or there’s a Mobo problem.

The methods I’ve done:

- RAM reseating, removal & cleaning

- CMOS resetting

- Rebuild the entire PC again

- Used different HDMI cables

- Tested my phone charger on the Mobo & case’s USB slots for power

ATX Mid Tower Computer: My power supply buzzes when im playing games.

I’ve tried multiple PSs and they all make buzzing noise while I’m playing

it stops immediately after exiting the game

note:all of the pc parts are new except for one hdd.

could it be a virus? I’m suspecting a cracked game to be the reason , couse when i changed the MB the sound disappeared until I lunched the potential reason.

I’m having a weird issue as well with apex. When I click continue it restarts my computer instantly and no error code pops up. Eventually I’m able to get in and this last time mid game it just restarted. So I threw in a new 1000 gold plus from evga and still get the same price problem.

On top of that I’m running into a whea-uncorrectable error. I did the disk check and ram check. Reinstalled windows. Mind you the computer is a prebuilt from nzxt that is maybe a week old.

ATX Mid Tower Computer: Problem between my monitor connection with the pc.

my pc component running well... the cpu cooler working, fan working also the psu working fine.. when i connect hdmi cable to my monitor, it doesnt responding… i already set the monitor source to hdmi… my monitor working fine when i test with my ps4 .

before this i already run the pc as normal with my old monitor..i already playing games on it…then, when the new monitor arrive, it start happening… i thought it because of my new monitor but not.. i connect again to my old monitor it goes same thing…no more normal running pc…all gone blank… i wonder if my graphic card was the problem.

Just started a build this morning, getting power to board, fans are spinning but it won't post at all, I've taken it apart multiple times and completely reassembled. I'm running on an Asrock b450m motherboard.

Have rinserterd ram multiple times and cleaned it as well.

Any help is much appreciated.

ATX Mid Tower Computer: First custom build turns off immediately. 2 bad MOBOS in a row?

Hello!

TLDR: Processor, memory, PSU seem fine. MOBO lights up for a split second when PSU is plugged in. Only the CPU light and CPU fan turn on for a split second when I try to turn the system power on.

I’ve been trying to get my custom build to POST for about two weeks and have been running into a series of problems and I would appreciate any help.

Parts List

MOBO: Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5

Processor: Intel i7 6700

Memory: 2 x Corsair Vengengance DDR4 LPX 8GB 2400

Graphics: EVGA GeForce GTX 2018

PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850

Storage: Samsung 970 Evo

Heatsink: CoolMaster Hyper 212

When I power the system on, the CPU light flashes on and the CPU fan starts for 0.5 seconds and then the board shuts down. I’ve double checked the motherboard power and CPU power cables. I’ve tried powering it up with just 1 RAM stick installed. I’ve also removed the graphics card. I’ve checked the CPU pins on the socket and they seem fine (although this is my first build). I also tried power it on outside of the case on a cardboard box and got the same results.

When I first connect the PSU to the system all the RGB lights on the motherboard light up for a split second and then turn off. This is different than the CPU check light turning on when I power the system on.

I started out with an old Asus z270e gaming motherboard that my friend couldn’t get to work. I was able to get the CPU and RAM checks to pass and the PSU was supplying steadily on that motherboard but was unable to get it to POST. After being unable to return that motherboard, I upgraded to the Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5.

Could this just be another bad motherboard? Is this a CPU problem?
